You are invited to the 1st Blue Panda Lab, a virtual event hosted by WWF Greece, under the theme “Tourism and Marine Protected Areas in the post-Covid era”. Seven engaging speakers from different fields will search for the ingredients of the day after, and especially the co-existence of people and nature in a Marine Protected Area. The case study of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, Greece will be the starting point for a Mediterranean wide reflection.

The event is linked with the trip of the Blue Panda, WWF’s sailing boat, in six Marine Protected Areas of the Mediterranean and its relevant stop to Zakynthos, aiming to raise awareness among citizens and stakeholders, highlighting the MPA’s role for biodiversity, local communities and other activities in the area.

The event is open to public and will take place in English.

The event will be moderated by Panagiota Maragou - Head of Conservation, WWF Greece.
